Setting up a Memorial Fund
You may like to set up a Memorial Fund in memory of your child or loved one. Members have found this helpful as a means of keeping the memory of their child or spouse alive and friends and family donate at special times, such as Christmas, Anniversaries and Birthdays.

Some people also like to fundraise, but this is entirely up to the individual and we can provide promotional items, sponsor forms, posters etc., to assist.

Funds may be used for providing 24 hour heart monitors to medical establishments, AED’s in the community, funding literature, conferences, research or any other relevant project

Many people have written tributes for the SADS UK newsletter and if you’d like to do this at some time we’d be pleased to include this.

SADS UK purchases heart monitoring equipment at a special price and free of VAT. A separate memorial fund is opened by SADS UK, the money is not held in the charity’s main account. All charities accounts are audited at the end of each year in accordance with the Charities Commission regulations. The Trust only makes a 15% administration charge which is lower than most charities.

Just let us know if you’d like to set up a memorial fund, and we can arrange this for you
